Keshia Smith, BS
Mrs. Smith has earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M – Commerce in Criminal Justice (1999). She has been a managing partner for Life Lanes, LLC (since 12/2013) and Self-Sufficient, PLLC (since 7/2020). She was employed and contracted with The Center for Cognitive Education, LLC from 2008-2021. Mrs. Smith facilitated BIPP and Cognitive Education groups for over 10 years prior to her promotion to Program Manager with The Center for Cognitive Education, LLC. In addition, she has over 20 years of case management experience to include disability determinations for Social Security Administration, social services determinations for Texas Health and Human Services, and offender supervision (SISP, SNOP, TC) for the Texas Parole Division. Mrs. Smith has received specialized training in Cognitive based instruction, Certified "TruThought" Corrective Thinking™ Practitioner, has met the Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program Accreditation training standards for group facilitation, and is a Certified Anger Management Specialist.
